Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to growth, F&M Trust is adding a Commercial Loan Processing Support Specialist to join the Commercial Loan Processing team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring effective pre-closing and post-closing commercial loan documentation review, updating the commercial loan documentation exception tracking system, coordinating the residential appraisal process, preparing and reviewing reports, and more.
LOCATION
This position will report to the Commercial Loan Processing Manager and will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Chambersburg, PA. A hybrid working arrangement is available after a satisfactory introductory period and successful demonstration of key accountabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry, specifically relating to commercial lending, credit administration, loan review, loan documentation, lien perfection, or HMDA, strongly preferred. Experience outside of banking, but interrelated to the financial services industry, may be considered.
- Must possess strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe skills and be interested in using technology in the role.
- Highly attentive to details and organized.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work independently.
