SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES

• Proactively acts to ensure a safe work and event space for both team members and casino guests.
• Sets tables per layout.
• Sets chairs per layout.
• Assists with chair covers when necessary.
• Drops linen and skirts buffets.
• Sets out centerpieces per BEO.
• Pulls everything needed for banquet down to the banquet space.
• Sets up pipe and drape per layout.
• Sets out stations when required.
• Set up breakdown station.
• Sets out waste bins per layout.
• Sends drape to laundry when needed. Track’s location of drape.
• Sets dance floor when requested.
• Sets out mobile bars per layout.
• Removes and stores tables.
• Removes and stores chairs.
• Removes and stores skirting.
• Removes and stores dance floor.
• Removes and stores pipe and drape.
• Assists in cleaning the banquet rooms.
• May be required to assist in other areas/departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.

PREREQUISITES

General: Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for Tribal Non-Gaming License.

Education: Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace. Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Experience: Food service and banquet experience, with knowledge of the sequence of service and banquet room procedures, preferred. Must demonstrate acceptable guest service skills and be able to perceive each guest’s needs and wants to ensure a positive experience.

Physical: Must be able to stand and exert rapid mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must have a good sense of balance, hearing and vision in the normal range, ability to bend and kneel, and can lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
