Purpose of Position:
Catering and Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a pleasant, timely manner at all catering events and all other areas as assigned.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Will be required to set up according to the type of event and gather any equipment required for the requested menu, as well as break down and clean up after each event.
• Upkeep and track equipment inventory, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned, polished, and kept in its allocated space.
• Cashiering and alcohol handling is required to execute the job during any event and concerts where sales are required.
• Will be responsible for immediately delivering any room service request orders as well as collecting all service carts and dishes.
• Must be able to service more than one event and work collaboratively in groups and teams.
• Service guests based on the service standards and guidelines provided by catering management.
• Responsible for knowing catering menu and timeline.
• Maintain a well-organized catering and storage area
• Must keep a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain all catering and service equipment
• Responsible for knowing Sequence of Service, and “ServSafe” guidelines.
• Communicate with guests in a professional manner
• Pre-bus all tables in assigned station.
• May be required to work off-property catering events.
• Carry food items and dishes to work station.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the casino’s guest service standards.
• Proper greeting and farewell throughout dining experience.
• Responsible for side work during and end of shift.
• Participate in and support all guest service training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
