Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     • Base Salary up to $160k DOE plus bonus opportunity and excellent benefits
    • HYBRID Work Schedule – 4 days per week in the North Dallas office / 1 day WFH
    • Bachelors Degree and 10 years combined compensation, benefits, and HR experience required
    • Experience with benefits plan design and compensation required
    • Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Structural) or EPC sector HR experience preferred

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the company compensation and benefits function.
    • Develop and lead compensation analytics, market studies and/or vendor management.
    • Oversee long-term incentive/equity management administration.
    • Project manage and analyze salary increase cycles.
    • Conduct custom compensation analysis and advise senior leadership on niche positions.
    • Design, implement and manage compensation and benefits programs to fit changing business needs
    • Manage company benefits programs to maximize return on investment for company employees
    • Lead HR ERP configuration updates and ongoing system governance.
    • Monitor industry and external market and provide analysis on the impact of relevant developments in the compensation and benefits areas.
    • Identify opportunities to continuously improve compensation and benefits programs.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of HR experience; MBA a plus
    • 5 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience
    • Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Structural) or EPC sector experience preferred
    • Management experience in a compensation and benefits role required
    • Experience working with a market pricing tool required
    • Advanced HR ERP (Vantage Point preferred) and MS Office (Excel) skills required
    • Experience with equity, compensation evaluation and benefits and incentive plan design required
