The Billing Resolutions Specialist for the Billing Team is responsible for providing excellent and reliable personalized service for their assigned group billing clients in which they will provide timely and correct invoices and reconcile payments within a timely manner to meet SLA requirements. This involves researching discrepancies and taking action with the client and the customer to resolve any issues as well as working daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure your assigned clients are fully taken care of.
This is a hybrid position and must live within the Addison, Texas office.
Essential Functions
- Proactively outreach to assigned client groups to resolve discrepancies, establish relationships and build rapport
- Reconcile payments for various customers for group or individual payments timely and accurately
- Research discrepancies in several systems and work with internal departments and customers to find resolutions quickly
- Adhere to all deadlines driven by the business
- Review payroll slip requests to ensure accurate billing
- Assist with implementation of new groups
- Backup Billing Resolution Administrator as needed in order to meet service levels
- Assist with System implementation as needed
- Answering the phones and providing reliable service to any of our clients
- Actively participate and contribute to team projects and team meetings
- Assist team members as needed in order to meet team service levels and deadlines
- This position supports company initiatives and performs other duties as assigned
- Review current business processes and workflows to find new ways to deliver excellent service, both internally and externally
Job Skills and Requirements
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel (including but not limited to: pivot tables, advanced functions, tables, graphs, charts)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to manage own workflows and projects
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, with client and with internal departments
- Ability to be flexible, multitask, and shift priorities on a continual basis
- Flexibility to put in overtime as required by business

Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years’ experience in billing and similar experience
