Bistro Bartender jobs in the United States

Ivey's Bistro in Houlton is looking for an enthusiastic server/bartender to provide an excellent dining experience. Good servers should also be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

· Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks

· Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

· Operate restaurant POS terminal and communicate with kitchen

· Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

· Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

· Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

· Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

· Comply with all food and beverage regulations

· Process cash and credit card payments in accordance with company policies

Skills

· Resume and proven working experience as a bartender and food server

· Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

· Computer literacy

· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

· Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Job Type: Part-time, 15 - hours per week

Pay: $14.15 per hour plus tips
