Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of auto body repair processes.

Looking for someone to work in busy office dealing with damage estimates, customers and body shop technicians and insurance company’s.

We are a DRP for a few insurance company’s but work with most insurance people. We use CCC estimating system for writing estimates.

Would need to estimate labor and parts needed, and paint and materials for the job and work with other departments to schedule and get repairs done. We run a very high quality shop and treat people with respect and help everyone in any way we can to get them fixed up and on the road again.

Duties:
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine the necessary repairs
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software
- Communicate with customers to explain the repair process and provide cost estimates
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure timely and efficient repairs
- Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Monitor the progress of repairs and update customers as needed
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, estimates, and customer interactions

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and techniques
- Proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and provide detailed repair estimates
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus
- Cash handling experience is preferred
