Job Description:

SR Technologies (SRT), a BlueHalo Company is expanding and we’re looking for a Chief Engineer, Signal of Interest (SOI) to join our team! As the Chief Engineer – SOI at SRT you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert in SIGNIT/Cyber/EW and will be responsible for ensuring technical performance of programs along with ensuring budget and schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

• The Chief Engineer – SOI will lead in the ownership of the technical performance, and risk of the development and production programs while partnering with the program management for ensuring the cost and schedule are balanced.
• Deliver on financial commitments to the business and grow programs to increase long range plan value for the mission area.
• Establish and manage a product vision, strategy, and goals to align with multiple Programs/Customers and facilitate conflict resolution.  
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps.
• Support annual proposal and IRAD planning.
• Develop product requirements and perform requirements maintenance through system engineering practices.
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across programs and other functions to meet and/or exceed cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Provide monthly status of programs.
• Interact with senior customer counterparts, internal senior program management and engineering leadership as the primary technical point of contact.  
• Lead and support the capture of new business and influence technical and product line roadmaps, proposals and ensuring they are reflected in program planning and execution.   
• Plan out and lead the incremental development of upgrades and system improvements.  
• Technically engage with major subcontractors and partners to ensure product deliverables. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Support internal and external outreach.  
• Indirectly supervises 5 employees within the SRT department(s).
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s Degree and 10 years of related experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Development Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software
• Advanced knowledge of Wi-Fi and Low Power Wireless Communication technology
• Advanced knowledge of SIGINT/Cyber/EW systems
• Advanced knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Firmware/Embedded Signal Processing
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
