Bspoke Title Holdings manages title insurance agents in and around Texas.

We are looking for a bookkeeping professional to help us meet our post-closing/funding needs in the Austin area of Texas. Escrow/ Title Funder- Post Closer is responsible to effectively balance and fund the closed escrow transaction for insuring title insurance. This position requires extreme independent judgment and the knowledge and experience necessary to efficiently handle the balancing and funding of the files in order to finalize the escrow process.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Escrow/ Title Funder- Post Closer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This is a crucial role that supports the financial health and success of our organization.

Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using GAAP principles

- Prepare and record journal entries

- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations

- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors

- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits

- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices

- Utilize accounting software such as Sage to streamline processes

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Solid understanding of GAAP principles and accounting practices

- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry accuracy

- Knowledge of governmental, public, corporate, and technical accounting

- Familiarity with payroll processing and related tax requirements

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
