Bookkeeping Manager manages and oversees all the bookkeeping staff. Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure timely and accurate records and reports. Being a Bookkeeping Manager provides assistance to other financial function: budgets, payroll, etc. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Bookkeeping Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Bookkeeping Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. The Project Manager will work on water supply/distribution, water quality and wastewater collection/treatment projects. This individual will work closely with the Municipal Team Leader and other members of a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Plan and design medium to large scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Assist with oversight and guidance of projects from initial concept through construction
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals
- Collaborate, mentor and lead as appropriate
- Prepare preliminary engineering reports.
- Perform and review detailed hydraulic calculations.
- Produce effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
- Assist clients with construction procurement
- Assist with water and wastewater operations and research, hydraulic/process modeling, environmental review, permitting, and project financing
- Provide bidding and construction administration services.
