Primary Purpose of Job
Provides training and leadership to tellers and serves as a subject matter expert to resolve complex customer transactions and issues.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Leads the teller team by providing training and guidance to tellers.  Serves as a resource in resolving complex customer transactions or issues. 
• Partners with the Assistant Branch Manager to prepare teller schedules.  Monitors workflow and customer peak periods to ensure appropriate staffing levels are available to deliver a superior customer experience.
• Performs bank teller responsibilities and refers customers to appropriate business partners when other product or service needs are identified.
• Monitors branch adherence to regulatory compliance and the Bank’s security procedures, as related to teller activities.  Provides oversight to customer fee/service charges and monitors fee reversals and waivers provided by tellers.  Reports improper or suspicious activity to branch management.
• Provides personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.

Experience Required

• Two (2) years of retail banking experience where adherence to bank operating policies and regulatory compliance is required.

Required Skills or Training

• Working knowledge of bank products, branch operations and banking regulations.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
