Bricklaying Supervisor jobs in Pennsylvania
Bricklaying Supervisor supervises and directs a crew and other personnel engaged in masonry installation projects. Coordinates the activities of workers engaged in laying brick, tile, cinderblock, and other materials to construct or repair structures. Being a Bricklaying Supervisor checks the quality of work performed and directs clean up of job site. Requires a thorough knowledge of all types, shapes, and brands of bricks, mortars, and patching materials, and how to reline the ladles, tundishes and the furnace. Additionally, Bricklaying Supervisor requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a melt shop general supervisor or maintenance general supervisor. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job SummaryResponsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of Passenger and/or Cargo operations.Responsibilities
- Supervises all shift and ongoing activities related to Passenger and/or Cargo operations.
- Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance of assigned personnel.
- Directs personnel within assigned functional area.
- Oversees and advises on staffing needs for appropriate coverage.
- Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates.
- Ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements.
- Maybe required to communicate with Airport Board officials and individual customers.
- Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
- Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA requirements.
- Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and contractual agreements.
- Reads, understands and clarifies the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge.
- Administers practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect.
Minimum Requirements- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
