Budgeting Supervisor oversees the review of expenditures and preparation of operating budgets for various departments to ensure conformance to budgetary limits. Facilitates the analysis of overruns/underruns, actual spending and revenue, and prepares a variety of statistical reports. Being a Budgeting Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to a team of nurses
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Manage and coordinate daily nursing activities
- Assist with hiring, orienting, and training new nurses
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of nursing staff
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among the nursing staff
- Handle and resolve any patient or staff concerns
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
