B2B Sales and Account Management - Interior Landscaping Design Consultant
Are you skilled at converting a warm lead into a sale? Are you a relationship builder? Our client is seeking a B2B salesperson to grow new sales and manage existing corporate accounts. You'll join the market leader for interior plant sales and maintenance, faux plants, and holiday decorating in metro Detroit, serving the most prestigious corporate and institutional clients in Michigan.
The hybrid office has led a boom in companies re-thinking and humanizing workplaces, which has dramatically increased the demand for live plants, faux plants and the services required to take care of the plants. You'll provide the market with a niche specialty and have few competitors.
The ideal candidate has 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the facilities industry. If you’ve sold copy machine leases, office furniture, alarm contracts or skilled trade services, you can learn everything you need to know about plants.
This is a Hybrid job, which requires you to operate a mobile office while out visiting clients. The sales and design office is located in the Chroma building in Detroit. The greenhouse facility is in West Bloomfield, and the warehouse facility is in Milford. You will be required to attend in-person meetings at all three facilities.
Compensation is salary plus commissions, and a full suite of benefits.

- Must like people and plants.
- Outstanding communication and follow-up skills, on the phone and e-mail.
- Networking and relationship building.
- Listening skills and accurate note-taking.
- Ability to organize information and enter it into our proposal template.
- Driving to visit clients in person throughout metro-Detroit. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive anywhere in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, or Washtenaw Counties. You drive your own car, we reimburse mileage.
-Technology savvy and able to juggle a fast pace of communication from various sources, such as Zoom meetings, text, and e-mail.
