What You Will Be Doing
Job Purpose: As a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst/Developer, you will design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions to support business decisions specifically related to Measurement-Based Care and Behavioral Healthcare outcomes. This role involves working closely with Clinical and Quality teams to understand analytical needs and deliver actionable insights through database development, data visualization, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, measurement-based care, and healthcare outcomes data, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and meaningful information.
Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Clinical Data Analytics Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Design and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI.
- Produce ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
BI Solution Development
- Work independently with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new BI solutions and enhancements.
- Design and implement data models, databases, and data warehouses to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across BI solutions.
Project Management
- Lead and manage Measurement-Based Care BI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align BI initiatives with business goals.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI systems and queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Implement best practices for data management, data governance, and BI development.
Training And Support
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes, standards, and best practices.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Complete all required training as listed in Relias Learning within required timelines.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education, and ability of the employee.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business intelligence or data analyst, developer, or similar role.
- 3 years of proven experience developing with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) including database development.
- Experience working with healthcare data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Job Details
Description: This role requires that you live in Colorado and will be open until filled.
Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 annually
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the company’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the company’s mission and values. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
