Business Development Director directs the execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Director develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations. Additionally, Business Development Director collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Business Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Daily Business Development Trainee Responsibilities:

    • Supervises the day-to-day operations and performance of the team to provide the highest level of customer service for the customer.
    • Understands the overarching company strategy, as well as communicates and models the core values of the organization, to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.
    • Educates new potential customers on sales promotions, services, and the benefits of our brand vs the competition.
    • Handles customer concerns and ensures an appropriate resolution.
    • Attend and participate in-office meetings to increase sales margins and improve customer satisfaction rating.
    • Provides product feedback to their senior Business Development Trainee, including recommendations regarding improving the consumer experience and product/service packages.
    • Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

    Minimum Business Development Trainee Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of prior knowledge in a Leadership role, Entry-Level Management, Customer Service, Sales, or Client Relations is preferred.
    • Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields of study.
    • Roles in leadership positions and/or teams in school and at work.
    • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • High-energy, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Personable people who have built strong and lasting relationships with others.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,800.00 per month

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Weekends as needed

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Medford, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
