    Position Description:  The Construction Project Manager leads, directs, and coordinates the overall management of various construction projects including, but not limited to, custom residential new construction, commercial developments, and commercial remodels. 

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

     

    • Lead, direct, and coordinate projects from design to completion.
    • Develop and maintain good client communication to understand their needs, set expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Actively update owners on a monthly/weekly basis if necessary, on current project cost as well as projected cost with pending items.
    • Provide clients with accurate timeline of their projects.
    • Manage all contract documents associated with project, prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status.
    • Consult with local municipal building/planning departments to facilitate completion of building permits
    • Manage and aid sub-contractors in delivering a top-quality product and first-class client satisfaction.
    • Review work process daily; analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
    • Organize and run weekly site meetings with input from site Superintendents.
    • Manage project schedules including subcontractor timelines and schedules, design team decisions and Superintendent tasks with input from the Superintendent.
    • Keep schedules up to date, posted at the jobsite and distributed on a weekly basis or as needed to the owner and design team.
    • Monitor project communications including requests for information (RFI), change orders and design team submittals.
    • Accurately code invoices and work with the Controller and Superintendents to finalize monthly invoices.
    • Develop and maintain a detailed local cost of construction data base.
    • Work directly with company managers to accurately forecasts project revenues monthly.
    • Walk jobsite to review progress, ensure cleanliness, maintain site safety and overall positive company image.
    • Assist project Superintendent on project close-out upon completion of project.
    • Recruit, develop, and train a stable of top quality, client-focused sub-contractors.
    • Assist with Interviewing and hiring as needed to meet company goals.

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 7-10 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
    • Healthcare, multifamily, and mixed-use commercial development experience preferred
    • Proficient at reading architectural drawings and plans
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
    • Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles
    • Proficient with MS Project, MS Office 365, MS Team, Word, and Excel
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills

     

    The ideal candidate:

    • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud & Spectrum preferred
    • Experience estimating commercial projects a plus

     

    Other requirements:

    • Possess the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship
    • Must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
    • Possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

     

    Salary Range

    Salary: $110,994 minimum to $122,247 midpoint, $135,000 superior candidate

    Typically, candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on applicable experience, qualifications, and alignment with preferred skills.
