Duties
- Proactively prospect through strategic research and cold call outreach to acquire new clients
- Analyze clients' transportation needs and propose freight solutions to meet their requirements
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty
- Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with clients and carriers to maximize profitability and service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams and management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics consistently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and objectives
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
-Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
