    Position Overview: As a Data Analyst focusing on Continuous Improvement in manufacturing settings, you will be an essential part of our team, working hands-on to drive operational excellence through statistical analysis and process improvements. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual eager to immerse themselves in the manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Data Collection and Validation
    • Collect, clean, and validate manufacturing data (e.g., OEE, scrap, etc.) from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
    • Collaborate with frontline staff to ensure data integrity and gather insights from the shop floor.
    • Statistical Analysis
    • Apply statistical methods (e.g., Regression, ANOVA, DOE, etc.) to analyze manufacturing data, including production metrics, quality control data, and equipment performance.
    • Generate actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Continuous Improvement Initiatives
    • Participate in continuous improvement projects, employing statistical tools and methodologies to identify areas for optimization.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement data-driven solutions and monitor their impact.
    • Hands-On Engagement
    • Spend time on the manufacturing floor to gain a practical understanding of processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Work closely with production teams, demonstrating a willingness to get involved and understand the intricacies of manufacturing operations.
    • Reporting and Documentation
    • Develop clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and improvement progress.
    • Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering)
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Python
    • Strong foundation in statistical analysis and a keen interest in applying statistical methods to real-world manufacturing challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
