Axiom Healthcare Services is seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing data analysis and clinical knowledge to drive operational efficiency and improve patient care within our network.
Key Responsibilities:
Expense Management:
- Analyze systems, recommend and implement changes to those systems to increase overall operational efficiency.
- Oversee the entire budget management process, including tracking and reporting.
- Analyze expenditure data to identify trends, variances, and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets.
- Establish and enforce expense policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor spending and identify potential discrepancies or irregularities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Analytic Management:
- Analyze referrals from various community healthcare providers.
- Improve Operational Efficiency through audits of the referral process and in conjunction with the admission teams..
-Increase dexterity in moving patients through the referral pipeline from hospital to the appropriate skilled nursing facility within the Axiom network.
- Provide constructive feedback to facilities when prospective patients do not meet the company's clinical or financial requirements.
- Work with the Axiom Census Development team to help grow the resident referral network.
- Assist in streamlining admission referral process in a time-sensitive environment to improve acceptance or denial decisions within tight deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, nursing, or healthcare administration.
- Experience in leadership and management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and clinical data.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement processes, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
