Description:
This position will work primarily 1st shift (6 am to 2:30 pm) but must be available to work other shifts depending on training needs. Minimal overtime.
This position will work onsite immediately. Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams. The business casual dress code will need metatarsal safety shoes and prescription safety glasses (if needed). May drive a personal vehicle to other Waterloo sites for meetings. May also drive a John Deere-owned Gator on the shop floor.
Duties:
- Ensure process metrics and target performance levels are identified, implemented, and monitored.
- Lead project teams toward the definition and implementation of new processes and solutions.
- Work with cross-functional team members to collaborate on continuous improvement efforts.
- Document and report team efforts and progress and validate results endure after project closure.
- Solve problems through analysis of issues and evaluation of alternative solutions.
Require Skills:
- 1 year of manufacturing and/or operations experience.
- 1 year of demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience.
- 1 years of managing and leading projects.
- 1 year of continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional experience.

Education:
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (open to candidates with no degree if they have applicable experience).
This position is eligible (based on performance) for incremental, progressive retention bonuses at every 90 days for the first year on assignment. $5,000 for the first year broken down below
- $750 at 3 months
- $1,000 at 6 months
- $1,250 at 9 months
- $2,000 at 12 months
Retention bonuses are forfeited for those who do not complete their assignments or end assignments early. Subject to review.
