Phoenix Rising Treatment is seeking a motivated person to assist in launching our new PHP/IOP program, experience with a start up business, and some experience with program development is a plus.
JOB SUMMARY:
The clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the clients quality therapeutic care while adhering to the federal and state licensing and Joint Commission Accreditation Standards. The Clinical Director is responsible for developing policies and procedures that help the organization maintain compliance with the industry standards and health care laws and regulations. In the training capacity, the Clinical Director provides training to staff members, so they adhere to policies and procedures in the daily performance of their jobs. This position is responsible for establishing and monitoring treatment plans for all clients, within the agency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1- Hold and maintain the safety and well-being of the clients as a number one priority.
2- Maintains client's confidentiality and safety as a number one priority.
3- responsible for overseeing and developing the Clinical Department, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and scheduling.
4- Develops, plans, implements, strategies, and maintain oversight for the program continuation and growth.
5- Provides clinical training to clinical staff and interns.
6-Provides clinical supervision for assigned therapists and oversees the Clinical Department.
7-Creates and implement the following programs: Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, After care planning, Relapse prevention.
8-Supervises the following:
a-Clinical staff meetings
b-Insurance utilization reviews
c-Group therapy
d-Family therapy
e-initiate or supervises a client's initial treatment plan and assessments within 48 hours of intake, and mental health screenings within specified timeframes which are outlined in the DHS Regulations and Ethical Standards in the Helping Profession.
f-Individual therapy.
9- Works as a key member of the Management Team to develop and carry out company's mission, vision, values, strategies, objectives.
10- Serves as a liaison between leaders of other agencies when necessary.
11-Defines key objectives and requirements to create and enhance growth as an organization.
12-Establishes and maintain a department structure and define individual roles that can support an organization capable of strong, sustainable growth.
13-Implements effective measurements criteria for key initiatives to continually assess our program and the objectives to improve effectiveness of the company.
14-Mentor personnel to achieve a stronger overall organization.
15-Interviews and selects, in conjunction with the Executive Team, prospective employees for clinical positions.
16-Establishes and maintains ( in conjunction with other agency Directors), the program curriculum for the outpatient programs.
17-Available to be "on call" for emergency situations.
18-Provides consultation on the strategic policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
19-Follows and enforces all the agency Policies and Procedures as outlined in the agency's various policy documents.
20- Participants in monthly management meetings and bi-weekly meetings with his/her direct reports.
21-Collaborates and maintains positives relationships with agency's Directors, office staff, regulating agencies, and clients/clients.
22- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
