Being a Career Advisor develops student advising resources and facilitation guides. Supports on-campus recruiting efforts and programs involving student and employee interactions. In addition, Career Advisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Career Advisor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Jackson is located primarily in northeastern Hinds County, with small portions in Madison and Rankin counties. The Pearl River forms most of the eastern border of the city.
