Your Responsibilities in this Role

• Completing Maintenance, Repairs & Improvements You’ll be completing small to medium projects for home and business customers.
• Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
• Create Life-Long Customers Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers. You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.

Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

• Live near our service area, Western and Central Suffolk County
• Have 10 years’ of paid experience in this field
• Have your own day to day tools
• Be insurable for driving our vehicles
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Able to safely work at heights and work overhead
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle

As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in the following :

• Decking
• Door / Window Installation
• Siding / Roofing Repairs

Plus proficiency in at least 2 areas below :

• Finish carpentry
• Kitchen / Bathroom Improvements
• Tile Installation
• Flooring installation
• Painting
• Light plumbing and electrical

Benefits & Pay

Weekly Pay : The pay range for this position is $34 to $44 per hour and is dependent on your professional experience.

You will be given a clear pathway to increase your earnings each week through commissions and efficient work.

• Bonuses : Those who consistently perform well, will also be eligible for larger, quarterly bonuses too.
• Retirement Plans : We all know one day you will be ready to retire and we want to help you save for when that time comes.

Retirement plans are offered after an initial probationary period.

• Supplemental Insurance : We offer supplemental insurance to help pay for accidents and injuries
