Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Counter and Store Associate to join the Village Grocery and Refillery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, have worked in food and/or coffee, and a strong focus on creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Starting rate ranges from $14-$16p/hr tips.

MUST BE AVAILABLE for BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SHIFTS

Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Work well under pressure
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Assist Retail Manager in inventory management and restocking of products
- Exceptional team working abilities and communication skills

Qualifications:
- Customer service in food and beverage industry preferred
- Experience in using Square POS preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills

- Ability to communicate with customers effectively
- Proficiency in retail math calculations
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred

We are a local Grocery store that also offers made to order food, specialty coffee, house made pastry and bread and thoughtfully sourced groceries and products. We are seeking someone who is as passionate as we are about supporting our local farmers and makers. Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
