Catering Assistant jobs in the United States

Drakes Catering provides food and beverage services to all Premium Seating (Suites & Clubs) of LSU's Tiger Stadium, Alex Box Stadium, and the Pete Maravich Center, as well as many external events including weddings, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, and office lunches.

This position is for FOH (front-of-house) work with part-time and full-time hours available.

***This open position is NOT a culinary position.***

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepping catering supplies for events
• Stocking designated areas with supplies
• Delivering supplies and food to event space within LSU premium seating or to an off-site venue
• Arrange food/drink displays
• Set tables up to dining standards
• Manage stock of food/beverage during the event
• Maintain cleanliness of food and dining areas during the event
• Distribute/serve food
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Assist in breaking down and returning all excess food and supplies to our kitchen after events
• Taking inventory of supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned to prepare for future events

Requirements:

• Availability to work ALL LSU home football games (Saturdays in the Fall)
• Prior experience in the food service or hospitality industry, preferred
• High School diploma
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to walk or stand for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift 25 pounds

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
