Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Catering Manager to join our team. The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, including event planning, contract negotiation, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry with a focus on catering and events management. Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and fundraisers - Collaborate with clients to understand their specific event needs and develop customized menus and services - Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions - Market catering services to potential clients through various channels, including online platforms and networking events - Manage all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, equipment rentals, and transportation - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation and service - Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner - Maintain accurate records of all catering activities, including financial transactions and client feedback Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred - Proven experience in catering or events management within the hotel or hospitality industry - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors and suppliers - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and other stakeholders - Proficient in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
