Central Supply Supervisor supervises employees responsible for either all central supply functions or one specific function such as sterilization, equipment distribution, or linen supply. Assists employees in day-to-day tasks and ensures hospital procedures are followed and standards are met. Being a Central Supply Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Operates a variety of motor vehicles to transport mail, equipment, personnel, freight, and supplies, upon request from Medical Staff transports ambulatory patients to and from the hospital. Receives, records, and distributes all purchases of supplies and equipment for BBAHC. Assists in storing and issuing assigned medical supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year office experience.
2. A valid State of Alaska Driver’s License and a good driving record required.
3. Hazmat transportation training required upon employment.
4. Forklift training required upon employment.
5. Eligible for Airport Operations Area (AOA) security access for transporting ambulatory patients/medevac crew to and from the airport/patient homes.
6. Proficient in working with a variety of office machines including computers.
7. Possess strong organizational skills and work independently with minimal supervision
