  • Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly experienced Facility Engineer to guide and support the Facilities Maintenance department in the design, sourcing, installation, operation, and upgrade of electroplating systems in our plant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure that our equipment is operating efficiently and effectively to meet production targets.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop plans, drawings, and specifications for new production lines and systems, including electroplating lines, process tanks, automated equipment, instrumentation, timers, pumps, ventilation, and other equipment.

    • Oversee the sourcing and installation of equipment and systems, ensuring that they meet specifications and are installed correctly.

    • Monitor the operation of electroplating equipment and systems to ensure that they are operating at optimal levels.

    • Identify and implement improvement and upgrade opportunities for electroplating equipment and systems to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

    • Guide and support the Facilities Maintenance department in performing maintenance and repairs on electroplating equipment and systems.

    • Develop and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and repair logs.

    • Develop an annual capital plan and a maintenance schedule.

    • Lead equipment design, sourcing, and installation for major capital projects including new building buildout, facility relocations, and acquisitions.

    • Collaborate with the EHS department to ensure that safety protocols are in place and followed for all equipment and processes.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    • 3 years of experience in engineering

    • Experience with CAD software for the design of process equipment systems.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
