Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. ROLE OVERVIEW
The primary role of Master Trainer is to provide QBS-designed training programs (primarily Safety-Care) to customers requiring skills in behavior change and management. Safety-Care is trained in various settings, including educational, residential, and treatment settings using a Train-the-Trainer model. Master Trainers travel 30 weeks per year, and they conduct training classes in their local area when not traveling. This role does not include any direct client contact.
The well-qualified applicant is a Behavior Analyst and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with experience working in one or more of the following types of settings, educational, residential, in-home, clinic, or hospital settings. The applicant has experience serving individuals with diagnoses varying from autism/DD, traumatic brain injury, to psychiatric disorders, who have exhibited a range of challenging behaviors from disruptive to very dangerous. The applicant should have experience training, teaching, or presenting to audiences.
Regular travel is a significant component of this role. The applicant should be comfortable traveling alone, booking travel, and managing unexpected travel changes (ex., weather, etc.). Classes are held in-person. There are opportunities to work from home when Master Trainers are not training or traveling.
