Essential Job Functions
-
Carry out occupational therapy plans of care for inpatient and outpatient populations
-
Utilize electronic medical record to record daily notes and gather information from supervising occupational therapist and communicate needs for supervision from occupational therapist in accordance to Iowa code.

Supervise rehabilitation technicians, and other rehabilitation services support staff.
-
May effectively work with a variety of age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.
-
Maintain licensure through approved continuing education hours as required by the state of Iowa.

Maintains familiarity with carious types of medical insurance and assist with monitoring treatment and authorization limitations from insurance carriers.

Perform other related duties as required from rehabilitation director.
