Channel Sales Manager manages a team of channel sales representatives to achieve sales and profit goals by selling goods and services through resellers/channels. Identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short- and long-term channel strategies. Being a Channel Sales Manager recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent or in a related area. Additionally, Channel Sales Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Channel Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. iTA is looking for a Full-Time Sales Account Manager to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ sales experience with:
- leasing and/or rental environment, or some sales experience in the trucking industry: International; Navistar; Mack; Volvo; Peterbilt; Kenworth; Freightliner; Ford Truck; CAT; Cummins; Detroit Diesel.
- Industry experience with: transportation; farming; trucking; heavy equipment; construction.
- Other industry experience may be given consideration if solid sale experience can be demonstrated.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated sales ability;
- High energy and self-motivated;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to market, including cold calling on prospective and existing customers in South Louisiana.
- Experience is a plus, but will train the right individual.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required.
- Base Commission salary structure; car allowance; excellent benefits.
