We are Memphis Auto Auction, a leader in the automotive auction industry and a winner of the Auction of the Year award. We’re growing and now seeking a Vehicle Check-In Clerk to work from our facility in the airport area of Memphis.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all of the MAA gates, offices and facilities are secure and in accordance with procedures. You will check in and out all vehicles as they enter and exit the property and ensure only authorized personnel are on the premises. Your primary job tasks include:
Greeting visitors and employees to MAA and ensure only authorized personnel are on company property.
Perform initial administrative processing of vehicles being entered to the auction sale.
Perform computer system data entry of identification information on incoming vehicles via portable terminal.
Ensure that all proper identification stickers and labels are affixed to the vehicle at the entry point and take a digital image of the vehicle.
Direct vehicle transporters to appropriate car drop zone.
Report any transport damage to vehicles.
Follow all job-related safety and health procedures.
Perform other work-related duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's License
1 to 3 years auto auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
