Medical Director

A Medical Director is needed in Harrisonburg, VA.

This position is with a community-based, nonprofit organization committed to their patients and provides a wide array of services to meet the needs of their community.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $210,000 - $250,000
• Sign-On / Relocation Bonus: $10,000
• Eligible for $10,000 / year performance / metric bonus starting year 2

Responsibilities

• 40 hours / Week (50% patient care hours / 50% admin hours)
• Hybrid Schedule with 1 Day Remote Possible
• Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in response to changing clinical or administrative environments.
• “Cradle to grave” primary care services, pediatric services, prenatal care and women’s health
• The role involves serving as a primary care provider in a Patient Centered Medical Home for 50% of the workload and providing supervision and medical leadership for the medical provider team 50% of the time.
• Serves all locations but patient care delivery would likely be in Stone Port
• On Call - 1:8, including Saturday clinic 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Requirements

• Clear and Active M.D. or D.O. License in the State of Virginia
• Board Certified in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician residency trained from an accredited institution
• Eligibility for Federal and State Controlled Substance Licenses
