    Job Summary:
    The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the daily operations of Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic. They ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services, and drives strategic initiatives to achieve the clinic's goals. The COO works closely with the CEO and other executives to implement policies, manage resources, and enhance patient care quality. The COO is expected to act in the absence of the CEO. They will exercise management responsibility over the clinic ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, the public, and staff either directly or through delegation of responsibility to the management staff.

    Supervises: 5-7 Directors

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including medical, administrative, and support personnel.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and teamwork.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Handles termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
    Duties/ Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage clinic budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans.
    • Identify growth opportunities and develop plans to expand services and improve patient care.
    • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
    • Implement patient-centered care models and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Address patient complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
    • Develop and manage the clinic's budget, ensuring financial sustainability.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
    • Oversee billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
    • Implement and monitor compliance programs and risk management strategies.
    • Prepare for and manage audits and inspections.
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of healthcare technology systems.
    • Promote the adoption of innovative practices and technologies to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
    • Ensure data security and confidentiality of patient information.
    • Represent the clinic in community and professional organizations.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory agencies.
    • Promote the clinic's services and mission within the community.
    Education/Certifications/Licenses
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
    Experience
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
