The Role:

DPV is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our ongoing operations and ensure the sustained growth and efficiency of our business. Your role will encompass overseeing a diverse array of business operations, and we expect you to be a seasoned and effective leader. We are particularly interested in individuals with strong people skills, sound business acumen, and an unwavering commitment to ethical business practices.

As a vital member of the senior management team, you will report directly to the President. You will be accountable for:

Responsibilities:

• Leading, managing and holding your team accountable
• Contract implementation and execution
• Safety and compliance at all locations
• Pricing strategy
• Client relationships
• Cost management and budget performance
• Fleet management
• Develop and implement strategic business plans and procedures
• Set ambitious performance and growth targets for managers and the entire company
• Craft and execute annual budgets
• Compile financial reports and strategies to safeguard assets and investments
• Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with management to implement cost-saving and financial strategies
• Create policies that foster our company culture, vision, and long-term sustainability
• Oversee the daily operations of the company and the work of our executive team
• Inspire and guide employees to achieve peak performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance through data analysis and metric interpretation
• Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to the CEO on critical matters
• Participate in expansion initiatives
• Manage relationships with partners and vendors

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a related senior role
• Proficiency in various business functions, including HR, Finance, Operations, and Sales
• A passion for problem-solving
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and business development
• Strong understanding of data analysis and performance metrics
• Knowledge of the Transportation Industry
• An integrator mindset with the ability to bridge visionary ideas
• Exceptional team leadership and inspirational qualities
• The ability to integrate major business functions
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking abilities
• Aptitude for effective decision-making and problem-solving
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; an MSc/MBA is a plus
• A minimum of 6 years of high-level management experience (preferred)
