STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Reviews clinical practices and update standing operating procedures.
Consults with Health Officer regarding medical services provided through the clinic.
Assigns and monitors work for quality and appropriateness. Provides staff evaluations including assessment of training needs. Initiates corrective action as needed; initiates disciplinary process as appropriate.
Interviews, hires and is responsible for overseeing orientation of new staff.
Initiates the development of program policies, procedures, and protocols for assigned programs.
Participates in strategic direction planning with agency leadership as well as helps to identify potential new funding sources to expand services. Potential future directions include HIV PrEP and HCV treatment.
Prepares an annual budget for programs under supervision. Reviews and monitors monthly expenditure reports and signs requisitions.
Ensures that supplies and medication inventories are monitored regularly to assure that program needs are met.
Assists in preparing required reports for funders, monthly internal reports, and summarizing activity and outcome data to evaluate program performance and inform continuous improvement strategies.
Builds and maintains relationships with collaborating agencies with which the Health Department has, or could have, subcontracts, service agreements, or referral arrangements related to Prevention Programs, with a focus on agencies that extend the Departments ability to serve hard-to-reach or disparately impacted sub-populations.
Collaborates with clinical teams (ARNPs/CNMs, Medical Assistants, Administrative Specialists, Supervisors, Referral Coordinator) to address site-based operational needs and improve patient experiences.
