The Surgery Center Nurse Director will oversee the entire facility, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and managing all staff. Key responsibilities include budgetary planning, ordering equipment and supplies, staff education, and providing excellent hands-on leadership. The Nurse Director will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer to maintain high standards of patient care across all departments, including admitting, pre-op, the operating room, PACU, and post-op areas.
Acting as a liaison between medical staff and patient families, the Nurse Director ASC will focus on maximizing patient and family satisfaction. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with surgery center policies and procedures, continuously monitor quality and patient safety, and step in to provide patient care as needed.
