About the Unit/Department/Team

Lakewood’s inpatient pharmacy serves a variety of inpatient and outpatient services Lakewood offers. We provide not only medications, but also clinical services to the patients we serve. We actively participate with being a resource for inpatient care, emergency care, surgical care, and outpatient care that includes a growing oncology program and a variety of infusion center services.

Mission for Position

Inpatient clinical pharmacists provide medications and medication expertise to patients accessing Lakewood for their care, no matter what stage of your healthcare journey.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and dispensing medication orders.
• Ensuring safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Contributing to the quality and effective operation of the pharmacy department.
• Participate in daily rounding of hospital patients.

Position Type

Casual - weekdays only.

No weekends, holidays, or call.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minnesota Pharmacist licensure
