Clinical Research Associate I - E.99
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years of full-time research experience. Experience working in a hospital setting. Experience working in a research environment developing clinical research projects. Experience with data analysis, and/or writing peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in a medical-related field. Experience with IRB preparation.
Brief Description of Duties:
• Assist clinical faculty with design of clinical studies, preparing IRB applications, collecting and analyzing data and writing manuscripts for publication.
• Assist with Medical Scientist Training Program.
• Perform own studies with the intention of obtaining funding within 5 years.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
Evening and weekend work may be required at times.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) to be offered for this position is noted below, it represents SBU's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Salary: $59,000-$67,000
