A medical services company in Texas is currently seeking a new A/R Collections Specialist for a great Remote opportunity with their team.
Responsibilities:
The A/R Collections Specialist will be responsible for focusing on A/R, collections, follow-up, appeals, and denials - specifically working with Meditech.
Qualifications:- 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Collections & Follow-Up
- Experience with Appeals, Claim Edits, and Denials (from start to resolutions)
- Experience with Meditech software (version 6 or later), including working claims and doing collections/follow-up using the system
- Experience with Commercial Collections (Health Plans like Blue Cross as opposed to government collections like Medicare)
- Customer Service-mindset
- Proven experience clearing 40-60 accounts per day

What does a Collections Supervisor do?
Collections Supervisor
Assists in Collections QC functions including DRF review, completing Correction Reports, performing follow-up discussions with staff as assigned, performing audits, reviewing QC records and data sheets, and assisting with QC activities as requested.
