Shine is a client and community-focused independent insurance agency looking for a new remote Personal Lines Account Manager with a demonstrated commitment to our core values and a desire to change how our clients feel about insurance. You will become a part of a team that cares deeply about its clients and employees while working within a flexible work schedule in a work-from-home position with a local service focus in Bloomington, IN.
About the Role
Shine is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support our current clients while creating long-lasting relationships with the community and participating in our future business growth. In this role, you will ensure the best experience for our clients through knowledgeable, concise communication, excellent client care, setting reasonable expectations, and following through in an impressive way. This position allows the right person to contribute to the development and enhancement of the agency both in the account manager role and the department and beyond.

What you will accomplish in the first 30 days: Familiarize yourself with the Company’s current processes and procedures and how we drive customer satisfaction through the value we deliver. Continue to integrate into the team and see where you can make an impact while beginning to take on client communication. Learn and familiarize oneself with the agency management system and begin to attend trainings on various agency items while starting to understand workflows, communication channels and collaboration methods.
What you will accomplish in the first 60 days: Continue to build relationships with current clients while incorporating your knowledge and experience to handle client tasks. Begin to handle client inquiries and requests with support from the Shine team.
What you will accomplish in the first 90 days: Utilize your understanding of the business to support a more extensive client base and continue to work towards defined goals. Focus on forming deep relationships with potential new clients throughout the community and continue to deliver service through our core values and service model. Begin to contribute to the enrichment of the department and agency through special projects and larger organizational work.
