  • Shine is a client and community-focused independent insurance agency looking for a new remote Personal Lines Account Manager with a demonstrated commitment to our core values and a desire to change how our clients feel about insurance.     About the Role

    Shine is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support our current clients while creating long-lasting relationships with the community and participating in our future business growth. In this role, you will ensure the best experience for our clients through knowledgeable, concise communication, excellent client care, setting reasonable expectations, and following through in an impressive way. This position allows the right person to contribute to the development and enhancement of the agency both in the account manager role and the department and beyond.

    How you contribute:

    Customer Interaction and Personal Insurance:

    • Bring confidence and compassion to every interaction.
    • Manage all inquires for personal insurance, including home, auto and life insurance.
    • Generate and assess prospect needs; presenting quality coverage options if a fit is identified.
    • Answer client questions, ranging in topic from billing to coverage, and more.
    • Respond to claims with attention, compassion, an accuracy.
    • Oversee & successfully close on assigned life insurance opportunities.
    • Handle endorsements, underwriting requests, renewals, and remarketing.
    • Work with several insurance companies across multiple platforms.
    • Treat lenders like royalty, understanding the referrals and goodwill they represent.

    Operational Excellence and Collaboration:

    • Maintain meticulous records of leads, sales cycles, and hit rations in AMS.
    • Deliver top-notch client experience throughout the policy life cycle.
    • Proactively engage with clients and insurance companies to ensure a seamless and accurate renewal process.
    • Collaborate with the internal team to efficiency handle all assigned workflows, enhance the training program, and improve the organization.

    What you will accomplish in the first 30 days: Familiarize yourself with the Company’s current processes and procedures and how we drive customer satisfaction through the value we deliver. Continue to integrate into the team and see where you can make an impact while beginning to take on client communication. Learn and familiarize oneself with the agency management system and begin to attend trainings on various agency items while starting to understand workflows, communication channels and collaboration methods.

    What you will accomplish in the first 60 days: Continue to build relationships with current clients while incorporating your knowledge and experience to handle client tasks. Begin to handle client inquiries and requests with support from the Shine team.

    What you will accomplish in the first 90 days: Utilize your understanding of the business to support a more extensive client base and continue to work towards defined goals. Focus on forming deep relationships with potential new clients throughout the community and continue to deliver service through our core values and service model. Begin to contribute to the enrichment of the department and agency through special projects and larger organizational work.

    • Positive and friendly personality – on the phone, video (for team meetings), and via email
    • Self-directed, assertive, and steady energy
    • Discipline to keep client files updated consistently and accurately in the agency management system.
    • Desire to work in a focused but friendly environment.
    • Proficiency in PC Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, network file sharing
    • Proficiency in insurance client management software – EZLynx preferred.
    • Licensed Property and Casualty Agent preferred.

    Experience

    • 3-6 years of experience as an insurance agent (personal lines preferred)
