Job Description
The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for ensuring all interim certifications are processed timely and accurately, assisting in maintaining resident and maintenance files and assisting the Site Manger in day-to-day operations of the property and must ensure customers receive prompt, efficient and quality service. This role helps manage three properties, located in Midvale and Downtown Salt Lake City.
What You Will Do:
- Must adhere to the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 regulations and comply with all State and Federal Law
- Assist in Marketing property, as necessary
- Assist in showing apartments to prospective residents
- Assist in initial screening and pre-application procedures of prospective residents
- Assist in maintaining resident files
- Assist in purchase order process
- Assist in work order process
- Maintain a current list of residents and rental amount
- Enforce all rules and regulations
- Assist in preparing and distribution of all tenant notices (i.e. 30 day notices, recertification notices, violations of lease or house rules and general notices
- Ensure residents receive prompt, efficient and quality service
- Assist preparing vacant apartments for re-occupancy, in coordination with maintenance personnel
- Assist cleaning vacant units as required
- Attend monthly Managers Meeting
Section 8/ Tax Credit/ Home Fund:
- Assist in completing all annual recertification’s in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining required resident files according to KPM policy and procedure
- Assist editing monthly resident newsletters for distribution, and disseminate
- Comply with all laws, regulations and program requirements
- Assist in maintaining applicant waiting list according to program requirements and Federal and State law
- Assist in initial screening process and ensure program qualification of all prospective residents
- Assist in completing all program and Management forms required on each qualified resident (including re-certification)
- Assist with the preparation for Audits and any required responses

- Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and may be required to obtain a Utah Real Estate License.
