The insurance Program our clients enjoy was built on ease-of-use, accommodating all occupancy phases of investment property (vacant, rental or undergoing renovation).
Our commercial division, Sandstone Insurance, handles properties that don't fit within our residential program as well as many other types of product coverages. We are looking for a Sales Manager within that group to provide exemplary service to all prospects, clients, and vendors. Building partnerships with the goal of adding profitable TIV (total insured value) encompassing multiple lines of commercial insurance.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate current insurance coverage, develop and advise proposal options that protect the investor as it relates to their real estate portfolio.
- Communicate directly with clients via phone, email or in person in a professional and friendly manner
- Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage and assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model
- Document coverage decisions in an effort to maintain accurate records
- Work with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies in pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Contributes to team effort by collaborating with assigned team and accomplishing related results as needed.
- Build positive relationships and maintain excellent communication with all departments within the organization.
- Recognize the importance of affiliate and retail agent-driven opportunities and hand appropriately.
- Execute job functions with energy, professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to maintain a 60% closing ratio on all new accounts.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma required, 4-year college degree preferred
- Two or more years in a Client Service or Sales position required
- Commercial insurance experience a plus
- Property and Casualty license required
- Above average skills in email, social networking and phone etiquette
- Specialized training in Insurance Continuing Education and Sales
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite
- Industry specific affiliations are preferred
