Commercial Tire Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing commercial tire customers to increase sales of products and/or services. Evaluates customer needs and makes product recommendations. Being a Commercial Tire Sales Representative develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of products and/or services in order to provide accurate information to customers. Meets established sales goals. Additionally, Commercial Tire Sales Representative may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Commercial Tire Sales Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for Road Service Call Center calls and managing all outside PM s and repairs.
- Establish and monitor department KPI s and individual metrics continual improvement in productivity and customer service.
- Review and approve high value and/or major repair estimates to ensure suggested repairs meet acceptable industry standards and that all applicable manufacture warranties have been applied.
- Review Road Service work orders to ensure billing and task coding is accurate to all G/L accounts.
- Monitor, on a daily basis, all inside and outside repairs while in process or post repair to capture unapplied warranties.
- Analyze tire problems and advise customer as to solutions.
- Perform tasks to service employees in accordance with customer needs and employee skills.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA, and DOT safety regulations.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
REQUIREMENTS- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment doing other job duties as assigned.
- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and infrequent travel.
