Commodities Manager jobs in Alabama
The Commodities Manager evaluates market conditions in order to maintain inventory levels and control costs. Develops, implements, and maintains a commodity inventory strategy that supports a company's supply chain. Being a Commodities Manager manages ongoing relationships with suppliers. Evaluates and recommends vendors. In addition, Commodities Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to top management. The Commodities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Commodities Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities

Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
Proven working experience as a cleaner
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
