    JOB PURPOSE

    Member of the marketing team, the Communications Director is responsible for overseeing all internal and external communications for the company, to increase brand awareness and enhance engagement to support the growth of the organization.

    MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define, develop, and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, in line with the overall company and marketing strategy.
    • Implement this strategy adequately in the various elements of the communication mix (advertising, advertorials, online, PR, event marketing, etc.) and assign the budget accordingly.
    • Be the custodian of the Aireloom, Kluft and Marshall brands (brands attributes, brands identity, key visuals, etc.) and adapt them over time to keep them relevant, desirable, and up to date.
    • Act internally and externally as a brand ambassador.
    • Define and implement the appropriate media strategy and plans.
    • Develop and monitor all digital marketing activities (websites, digital campaigns, social media programs, consumer reviews, influencers, etc.).
    • Define and execute a PR program to effectively reach the company’s trade and end consumer audiences.
    • Plan and develop the brochures, leaflets and other marketing collaterals required to promote the brands’ activities (product launch, trade show, etc.).
    • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns & initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Oversee all brand & product imagery and video production, used by the company and its partners.
    • Manage creative execution to provide consistent, targeted, and impactful messages.
    • Design and implement other consumer marketing actions such as targeted event or mailings.
    • Manage the different agencies and other communications partners (creative, media, PR).
    • Support the company’s network of retailers in their own communications programs, providing them with the appropriate tools to improve their offline / online presence and competitiveness.
    • Conduct regular brand review to benchmark Aireloom, Kluft and Marshall communications against their major competitors (positioning, execution, share of voice, etc.) and initiate corrective actions.
    • Manage a team of junior communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and development.

    KPIs

    • Net sales and gross margin.
    • Brand recognition, value and reputation.
    • Maximizing the numbers and quality of projects within budget constraints.

    DIRECT REPORTS

    • 3 direct reports (communications manager, digital marketing manager, graphic designer).

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • University degree in communications
    • 8 years of relevant experience in communications (company or agency).
    • Proven experience in media strategy, digital strategy and PR programs.
    • Excellent creative, written & verbal communications skills.
    • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a small and lean organization, hands-on, multitask, result oriented, team player and leadership skills.

    WORK PLACE & TRAVEL

    • Office in Rancho Cucamonga, with trips for meetings with agencies & clients and exhibitions (10%).

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
