Communications Editor Manager manages a staff of editors who write, prepare, and review content to be used in company publications. Develops, implements, and maintains editorial policies and standards and ensures conformance. Being a Communications Editor Manager reviews the team's work product and gives final approval. Acts as advisor to editing team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Communications Editor Manager oversees the coordination of production and distribution activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Communications Editor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Communications Editor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Project Manager – Construction manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems. Coordinates all direct communication with client and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all local operations in the assigned market, including supervision of employees and contractors to organize and ensure quality of work for fiber drops (aerial and underground), as well as in-home installations
- Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
- Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
- Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
- Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
