Communications Supervisor jobs in Toledo, OH

This is a mixed-function Warehouse Manager position combining facility maintenance, inventory management, and generator maintenance. This role requires a versatile individual who is mechanically inclined, skilled in inventory management software, and proficient in forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities by Departmental Needs:

Facility Maintenance:

1. Provide a clean and safe working environment throughout the facility, including but not limited to:
   1. Cleaning of the office, break room, locker room, bathroom, and warehouse floors is performed on a biweekly basis.
   2. When necessary, change the light bulbs.
      

Weekly duties:

1. Inspect each security camera to ensure that it is functioning properly.
2. Check the mailbox.
3. Verify that the outside lights are functioning.
4. Ensure that supplies for the office/bathroom are monitored and restocked in a timely manner.
5. Ensure that the lawn is maintained weekly and that snow/ice is removed by the tenants.

Monthly duties:

1. Fire extinguishers inspection.
2. Emergency lights inspection.
3. Inspection and restocking of the First Aid Kit
4. Cleaning the filter in the mini split unit in the office.
5. Ensure that the septic tank outside is monitored and that any alarms are immediately reported to upper management.
6. Periodic inspections of the outside facility to ensure it is in good working order.

Winter Month duties:

1. To ensure that the sprinkler system does not freeze, check the heaters weekly.

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certificated (Training Provided)
• OSHA 10 and 30 certified within the first 90 days of employment (Training Provided)

Inventory Management:

1. Weekly Inventory Audits and maintain inventory management systems for Monroe, MI Warehouse
2. Receive parts into Inventory Management System.
3. Complete receiving and picking up parts procedures as needed.

Business As Usual (BAU) generator:

1. Monthly start-up & repair of market portables in Monroe & Lansing
2. Identify and clear One-Link alarms on portables
3. Deploy portables on an as needed basis (24 x 7) from Monroe.
4. Refuels of fixed or portables.
5. Perform PM’s on fixed generators located in SE Michigan. (sites that allow travel to site and home during normal work hours, no overnight travel)
6. Troubleshoot and repair fixed gens in same range (Sites that have round trip during BAU hours)
   1. Laptop & monitor to access Magenta Workstation

Emergency Generator:

1. Weekly startup of emergency generators (1 trailer per week minimum)
2. Perform 1 Minor PM with Load bank and 1 Major PM with DOT inspection per year Per generator as requested.  The manager will give a quarterly needs schedule.
3. Tracking One Link status and repair as needed (Currently not readable inside the building so not a requirement.)
4. Maintain cleanliness of Emergency Generators as needed
