Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 
    • Managing and updating the Hilltop website and social media channels 
    • Manage community outreach and development 
    • Creation of annual marketing and community development plan.  
    • Creating graphics and copy for all social media platforms and events 
    • Developing and implementing effective radio and digital ad campaigns 
    • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance and creating reports 
    • Planning and coordinating events from start to finish 
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors and managing sponsorships 
    • Building strong community relationships and partnerships 
    • Conducting fundraising initiatives and campaigns 
    • Managing communication with stakeholders and partners 
    • Developing and managing marketing budgets 
    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
    • Experience in graphic design and event planning 
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques 
    • Experience in managing sponsorships and building partnerships 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to manage budgets and conduct fundraising initiatives 
    • Strong project management and organizational skills 
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
    • Experience in the non-profit space useful but not required
